Jason GouldDirector

Jason is a highly experienced investor, having worked in venture capital and private equity for over 20 years, firstly as a director with HSBC Ventures and then as a Fund Principal with the South East Growth Fund, before co-founding Percipient.

Jason has personally led over 75 investment rounds into more than 40 companies, encompassing sectors as diverse as biotechnology, software, manufacturing, distribution and business services. Investments have spanned from early stage to growth capital to management buy-outs.

Jason has held a number of non-executive director/chairman roles and enjoys working with high potential companies, often playing an active role to help them prosper. Investments include Oxford BioTherapeutics, River Marketing, Elucigene Diagnostics and International Logistics Group.

Jason has a first class degree from the University of Manchester.

Downtime

Jason lives with his wife and two daughters in Northamptonshire.

He has a passion for adventure sports and when not recovering from yet another self-inflicted injury might be found hanging off the wall at his local bouldering centre or freeflying upside down at 160mph in a wind tunnel.
